Westpac Foundation: Overview of the Social Scale-up Grant 2018.
Speaker: Lisa Waldron, Senior Advisor-Westpac Foundation
Duration: 1 hour.
Westpac Foundation’s Social Scale-up Grant is designed to help scale-up not-for-profit social enterprises that operate a business for the primary purpose of creating jobs and employment pathways for individuals who often face significant barriers to entering the mainstream job market or are excluded from the workforce.
In 2018, Westpac Foundation will award a total of $1.5 million to five not-for-profit social enterprises with a proven model to support people who face barriers to accessing Award-wage paying jobs, training, qualifications or work experience.
Our grant recipients will receive $300,000, over three years, to help scale-up their operations, grow their business and increase their social impact. We will also provide valuable non-financial support such as business mentoring and access to the skills and resources of the Westpac Group
This 1-hour introductory briefing will provide an overview of the Grant including the eligibility and selection criteria, the key elements of a strong submission as well as hints and tips for applicants.
Prior to joining the webinar, we strongly encourage potential applicants to please complete our Self-Assessment as well as read the 2018 Social Scale-up Guidelines – click here for details.
The webinar will allow up to 20 minutes for Q&A.
